Ended our holidays with a day trip to the Zoological gardens ! Where we had an absolute blast! Now it’s back to school again …

The summer holidays have been fun! We had Icecream Mondays, Milkshake Wednesdays and Buttermilk Fridays throughout the holidays! And spent the afternoons escaping the heat with fun Yoga classes , Carrom matches and drawing competitions!

Your generosity over the past 3 months has been phenomenal! The entire center has been painted ,the bathroom repaired and plumbing replaced, the window glass cleaned with the broken ones changed ! Cannot thank you enough!
The 30 curious minds were lead by Kedar Champhekar on a Tree Walk where they learnt, explored, and experienced the beauty and glory of not just the trees, but also the flora and fauna around.
While on their walk, the young participants collected flowers, leaves, twigs, and anything else they found interesting. The creativity paired with nature was a great outlet for the children in the form of Nature Rangolis!
May 2022 – Children’s day out at the Handmade paper factory! As the school holidays begin we embark on a series of fun experiences to educate our children. Today was a tour of Punes handmade paper factory which reinforced the values of reducing ,reusing and recycling waste. Followed by a mid morning snack and an interactive session – where of course the girls beat the boys hands down !

As Rakshabandhan approaches, we thank Vaishali, Jehangir, Dhanashree, Gouri, and Sunita for shopping with us! We were able to organize gifts for 37 boys and girls! Many thanks !!!

Of our 50 children,22 came to the center for a pre-Holi festive meal – packaged meals were sent home for all the others.
